A Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was diverted to New York’s Kennedy Airport after passengers were served spoiled food. The flight took off from Detroit and landed in New York in the early hours of the morning. Emergency medical responders treated 12 passengers upon arrival. It is unclear how many of the flight’s 277 passengers ate the spoiled food. Delta stated that they would investigate the incident and apologized to customers for the inconvenience and delay. Delta spokesperson emphasized that this was not the service Delta is known for.
