Fourteen-year-old Bryson Muir, the son of former Colts defensive tackle Daniel Muir, who has been missing since June 16, has been found safe. Bryson was last seen leaving Ohio with his mother, Kristen, and was reported missing by his grandmother, Cheryl Wright, who suspected abuse. Indiana State Police visited the Muir home in Logansport to investigate allegations of domestic abuse. It took several days for Bryson’s parents to cooperate with the investigation. On June 28, an Indiana Silver Alert was issued for Bryson. Law enforcement executed a search warrant on the Muir home and found Bryson with his parents. Following his discovery, his parents were arrested for obstruction of justice and his father, Daniel, also faces charges of domestic battery. The Muir family is associated with the controversial religious sect Straitway Truth Ministry, and neighbors describe the property as “scary” and “creepy.” Some neighbors heard gunshots coming from the property. Those with information on Bryson’s disappearance were urged to contact Indiana State Police. News 8’s Cat Sandoval contributed to the report.
