WWE and Indiana Sports Corp. have joined forces to bring the company’s three biggest stadium events, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and WrestleMania, to Indianapolis. The partnership will kick off with the Royal Rumble on Feb. 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium, followed by two-night events for SummerSlam and WrestleMania in the future.
According to WWE, these events have a combined economic impact of over $300 million. The agreement also includes hosting WWE television shows, Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, along with live events in cities like Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and Evansville during the partnership.
Indiana Sports Corp., known for hosting major sporting events such as Super Bowl XLVI and Men’s & Women’s NCAA Final Fours, sees this partnership as a way to boost the city’s sports strategy and attract international visitors. The company has hosted over 500 national and international events, resulting in more than $4 billion in direct spending in the community.
The collaboration between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp. is the first of its kind and marks a significant milestone for both organizations. This partnership is expected to bring a new level of excitement and economic opportunities to Indianapolis, showcasing the city as a premier destination for major sporting events.
