Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has recently expanded its offerings to include a series of “inspired pools” that aim to replicate hot springs from around the world. The idea behind these pools is to mimic the mineral compositions found in famous hot springs destinations, such as Iceland, South Korea, Guatemala, Italy, and Australia. The pools are mixed with different mineral recipes to provide unique benefits for visitors.
The expansion includes a 21-and-over section called WorldSprings, complete with a cafe serving cocktails, smoothies, and food. The concept was realized in partnership with New York-based Off Road Capital Partners, with the goal of creating a new social and wellness experience that brings the hot spring experience to cities across the U.S.
Founder Steve Beckley counts a total of 32 pools across the terrace, with plans for further expansion in the future. The feedback from visitors over the years has driven the development of new pools, private cabanas, and additional amenities. Reservations are required to control crowding, and WorldSprings offers a three-hour slot for access to all Iron Mountain Hot Springs pools for $59.
With its unique inspired pools, refreshing cold plunge options, and beautiful riverside location, Iron Mountain Hot Springs provides visitors with a one-of-a-kind hot springs experience that transports them to destinations around the globe. The expansion and ongoing development of the WorldSprings concept showcase the commitment to providing guests with a world-class relaxation experience.
