The Kentucky/Indiana All-Star Game took place this weekend with Miss Basketball Trinity Rowe and Mr. Basketball Travis Perry leading the Kentucky teams. The Indiana Girls’ All-Stars secured two victories, while the Kentucky Boys’ All-Stars split with Indiana.
In the first game, the Indiana Girls’ team won 90-79 with Juliana Woodard leading with 23 points. Shaelyn Steele led the Kentucky Girls with 25 points. In the second game, Indiana won again 66-61. Destiny Jones had a double-double for Kentucky with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
The Kentucky Boys’ team won the first game 103-82 with Max Green scoring 36 points. However, they lost the second game 92-89 despite Perry bouncing back with 17 points. In the second game, Flory Bidunga led Indiana with 31 points, while Green scored 25 for Kentucky.
Overall, the All-Star Game showcased the top high school basketball talent from both states. The games were closely contested, with Indiana ultimately coming out on top in the end. Congratulations to all the players and coaches involved for putting on a thrilling show for basketball fans.
