The Kokomo Police Department is currently investigating the disappearance of 83-year-old James Umbarger, who went missing from Kokomo, Indiana on July 4, 2024. James is described as a white male standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He drives a white with a blue top 2000 Cadillac Deville with an Indiana license plate UWJ534. Authorities believe he may be in extreme danger and in need of medical assistance. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Kokomo Police Department at 765-456-7199 or call 911. The small community of Kokomo, located 50 miles north of Indianapolis, is coming together to support the search efforts for James Umbarger in the hopes of bringing him back safely to his loved ones.
