Gee’s nonprofit, Cease Fire Indy, aimed to reduce shootings in the city, with one call for a 72-hour cease-fire. Kenneth E. Sullivan, a pastor at New Direction Church, remembers Gee’s efforts and plans to carry on his legacy. The vigil will include a balloon release and prayers for Gee’s family and children. Funeral arrangements will be made for next week.
