Wild Eggs, a popular breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot based in Louisville, Kentucky, has opened a new location in Avon, Indiana, marking its continued expansion into the southern United States. The chain is aiming to franchise more restaurants in states such as Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The Avon location is the latest addition to the Wild Eggs family, with plans for two more restaurants to open in Central Indiana soon, doubling the number of Wild Eggs restaurants in the Indianapolis area.
CEO Andy Abbajay expressed excitement about growing their presence in Central Indiana and serving more communities. The menu at Wild Eggs features items like the Kalamity Katie Border Benedict, Potato Head Casserole, Mexico City Chilaquiles, and Kelsey’s KY Brown, known for their chef-driven, scratch kitchen creations. The Avon location is open for dine-in, pick-up, or delivery seven days a week.
While the exact opening date for a Greenwood location has not been announced, it is expected to happen later this year. The company has plans to continue expanding in Indiana with a third Central Indiana location to be announced soon. Currently, Wild Eggs has other locations in Indiana in Carmel, Fishers, Downtown Indianapolis, Jeffersonville, and New Albany.
