A fatal crash occurred on the east side of Indianapolis late Wednesday night, resulting in one person losing their life. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at East 30th Street and Elmhurst Drive, near I-465 in the Arlington Woods area. One individual was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but tragically did not survive. The police did not provide information on the cause of the crash or the presence of any other individuals in the vehicle. As a result of the accident, Eastbound 30th Street was shut down between Radford Drive and Elmhurst Drive for an extended period of time while authorities conducted cleanup and investigation.
