He Knows Your Name ministry, in collaboration with the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office, has announced plans to hold a public funeral and monument dedication to honor the victims of the Fox Hollow tragedy, linked to suspected serial killer Herb Baumeister. The remains of eight individuals were found in the 1990s, with the ninth victim identified just last year.
A ceremony will be held at the Prairie Waters Event Center in Westfield on August 29 to remember all nine victims and lay Jeffrey Allen Jones to rest. The new monument, created by Canadian artist David Perrett and donated by He Knows Your Name, will provide a place for remembrance and healing.
Linda Znachko, the founder of He Knows Your Name ministry, emphasized the need to honor the lives lost in the Fox Hollow Tragedy and to create a path for healing by publicly acknowledging these victims. This public dedication marks the first time the community has given respect and recognition to the victims and their families.
Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison expressed the importance of properly remembering these members of the community and the partnership with He Knows Your Name to provide dignity and a final resting place for the victims. The monument lists the names of the identified victims, with space for additional names, and an ossuary is available for any family member connected to the tragedy to lay their loved one to rest.
