Arthur Nathaniel Booth, a burglary suspect who gained viral attention in 2015 after breaking down in tears in court when the judge recognized him as a former middle school classmate, has been arrested again for a string of crimes in Miami in August. The Miami Police Department reported that Booth posed as a water inspector and plumber in two separate incidents, stealing jewelry and a gold chain from victims. One victim, an 85-year-old man, recounted how Booth tricked him into snatching his gold chain that he brought from Cuba. Booth is also suspected to be involved in other chain snatch incidents. Booth was arrested nearly 10 years ago for burglary and police pursuit and appeared in front of Judge Mindy Glazer, who expressed sympathy and encouraged him to change his ways. Booth has been charged with robbery, burglary, home invasion, and robbery without a firearm or weapon in connection to the recent crimes. Legal representation for Booth was not provided in online records.
