In an Instagram story, Earle admitted to using the slur when she was 13 years old in 2014, expressing regret for her actions and acknowledging the hurt they caused. She emphasized that her use of the word does not reflect her true beliefs and values, as her platform has always been built on positivity and uplifting others.
Despite being advised not to address the issue, Earle took responsibility for her inaction and admitted that her silence allowed rumors to spread. She expressed disappointment in herself for not speaking out sooner and vowed to learn from the experience.
