The agreement will kick off with the Royal Rumble on February 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium, followed by two-night events for WrestleMania and SummerSlam in future years. WWE programming, including Raw, SmackDown, and NXT, will also take place across Indiana. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The partnership was first reported by WrestleVotes and the Indiana Business Journal, with the announcement coinciding with WWE Raw from Indianapolis. Indiana Sports Corp President, Patrick Talty, expressed excitement for the partnership, emphasizing the economic and tourism benefits the events will bring to the state. WWE EVP Chris Legentil praised Indianapolis as a fantastic city for major events.
The collaboration with Indiana Sports Corp will also include a legacy program to impact the community beyond the live events. WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble are expected to have a combined economic impact of over $300 million. Fans can soon purchase Priority Passes for Royal Rumble 2025 through On Location, offering ringside seats and other premium experiences.
Indiana Sports Corp has a history of hosting major sporting events, including the Super Bowl and NCAA Final Fours, with over $4 billion in direct spending in the community as a result.
