Trump refuses to engage in future debates with Harris

Former President Donald Trump confirmed that he has no intention of having another debate with his Democratic opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump stated that he believes they have already discussed everything necessary and that Harris should focus on running the country instead of worrying about a debate. Harris, on the other hand, believes they owe it to the voters to have another debate because of the importance of the election. This decision comes two days after their last debate in Philadelphia, where they discussed various issues, and Trump made several false or misleading remarks. Despite networks offering potential debate dates, neither candidate has formally agreed to any additional debates. Trump had initially criticized the moderators of the last debate and was noncommittal about participating in another matchup. He had received offers from Fox, CBS, and NBC, with discussions ongoing. The Harris campaign has pointed to her remarks at a campaign rally as their response to the situation. Overall, Trump has decided against another debate with Harris, citing that they have already covered everything in their previous debates.
