Rescuers are searching for missing park concession worker, Austin King, in Yellowstone National Park. King failed to check in after a weeklong trek on and around Eagle Peak, the park’s highest location. He was last heard from on Tuesday describing challenging conditions including fog, rain, sleet, hail, and wind. The search began on Saturday after King missed his boat pickup on Friday. Crews found his encampment and personal items, but his truck is still missing. The search involves multiple agencies and focuses on Yellowstone Lake and Eagle Peak. Temperatures in the park have been cold, with lows in the high 20s. King is described as 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with hazel eyes, wearing glasses, a black sweatshirt, and gray pants. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Yellowstone Interagency Communications Center. The search effort involves over 20 people on the ground, two helicopter-based crews, drones, and a canine team. Despite these efforts, King has not been found.
