The iconic police car from “Blues Brothers 2000,” driven by Dan Akroyd’s character Elwood Blues, will be auctioned in Indianapolis in October. The 1991 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor has a 351 CI V-8 engine and $15,000 worth of modifications. Akroyd previously owned the car and it will be sold with documentation connecting it to the movie. The car features a blue interior and an autograph and inscription from the actor on the dashboard. The auction will take place during Mecum Auctions’ Indy Fall Special 2024 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, and will feature 1,000 classic and collector vehicles. The event will run from October 3-5, with tickets priced at $30 for a single-day ticket and $75 for the three-day event. Children 12 and under get in free. Don’t miss the chance to own a piece of movie history by bidding on this famous vehicle.
