The IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indianapolis is bringing back the popular “Polar Pajama Parties” from Dec. 6-19. Families can enjoy screenings of “The Polar Express” while dressed in cozy Christmas Eve pajamas. Combo tickets for one child and one adult are $20. The theater encourages kids to check their PJ pockets for holes, in reference to a plot point in the film. The museum is also hosting Celebration Crossing, a holiday-themed event featuring a train ride called the Snowball Express. Visitors can see Indiana’s animals preparing for winter and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus on the museum’s first level. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Nov. 29 to Jan. 5, with the exception of Christmas Day. This festive tradition is a great way for families to celebrate the holiday season in Indianapolis.
