Ohio State avenges loss, triumphs over Indiana volleyball in five sets

In a thrilling five-set match, the Indiana volleyball team fell to Ohio State on Sunday, despite a strong performance from junior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles, who tallied 23 kills. Ohio State’s Emily Londot led the Buckeyes with 20 kills, while Emmi Sellman added 19 and Rylee Rader contributed 13. Indiana claimed narrow victories in sets two and three, but Ohio State dominated in the sets they won, with strong starts and control throughout. The loss highlighted Indiana’s struggles on the road this season, with just three wins out of 13 matches. The Hoosiers will return home for their final two matches, facing Michigan and Illinois before the end of the season. This defeat marked the end of their road games in the regular season. Ohio State, on the other hand, bounced back from a tight third set to secure the win, showing resilience on their senior night. The Buckeyes will look to carry this momentum into their final matches of the season as well.
