The Indiana Hoosiers are on a winning streak and are set to face off against Michigan State in East Lansing this weekend. With a 31-17 victory over Washington in their last game, the Hoosiers are looking to improve their record to 9-0. Despite starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke being out, backup Tayven Jackson stepped in and performed well, throwing for 131 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Justice Ellison also had a strong game with 123 rushing yards and a touchdown.
On the defensive side, the Hoosiers held the Huskies to 318 total yards and forced two turnovers. They will need another solid defensive performance against Michigan State, who are coming off a tough loss to Michigan. Although the Spartans’ defense played well, their offense struggled to finish drives, resulting in a 17-14 loss.
Indiana is a 7.5-point favorite in the upcoming game, and the over/under is set at 51.5 points. Michigan State has won six of their last nine matchups against Indiana, with the most recent game ending in a 24-21 victory for the Spartans.
