A ceasefire brokered by the United States between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group has taken effect, ending fighting at the Israel-Lebanese border. The agreement was announced by President Joe Biden and approved by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The conflict had resulted in casualties and displacements on both sides of the border. Israeli troops will now start withdrawing from Lebanon, with the Lebanese military and security forces beginning their deployment towards the south.
In other news, winter weather is forecast for Thanksgiving, with an “Arctic outbreak” expected to bring cold temperatures across parts of the U.S. and rain and snow in certain regions. Additionally, a little-known Clinton-era policy known as the 287(g) program is expected to be used by President-elect Donald Trump’s administration to carry out mass deportations. The program allows state and local law enforcement officers to perform certain functions of an immigration officer, raising concerns about racial profiling and fear in immigrant communities.

Filmed at the Kansas City Chiefs’ home base, Arrowhead Stadium, the movie features a love story set against the backdrop of the team, coinciding with renewed interest in football due to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship.
