The Thanksgiving weekend in Indianapolis is set to be cloudy and chilly, with colder air moving in for Black Friday and beyond. After overnight rainfall, the day will be mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching the lower 40s. Tonight will be cold with temperatures dropping into the twenties. Friday will start in the twenties with some sunshine, but high temperatures will only reach about 30 degrees with breezy winds.
This weekend will continue to be chilly with a chance of snow in southern Indiana on Saturday evening. Highs will remain around 30 degrees. The Old Oaken Bucket game on Saturday will see temperatures in the twenties. Sunday will be dry but very cold with highs in the upper twenties. Nighttime lows throughout the weekend and into Monday morning will be in the teens.
Monday and Tuesday will bring quiet conditions with temperatures around freezing. As many kids head back to school on Monday, the cold weather is expected to persist. Bundle up and stay warm as the chilly weather settles in over the holiday weekend.
