The Indiana Pacers secured a 121-114 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night, thanks to stellar performances from Pascal Siakam, Tyrese Haliburton, and Bennedict Mathurin. Siakam and Haliburton combined for 57 points, with Mathurin adding 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pacers to their third consecutive victory.
Despite a strong start from the Trail Blazers, who led by as much as 10 in the second quarter thanks to Anfernee Simons’ 30-point effort, the Pacers rallied in the second half to take control of the game. Haliburton scored 12 points and Siakam added nine in the final quarter to secure the win.
The Blazers struggled with shooting lapses in the second half, allowing the Pacers to extend their lead. Portland cut the deficit to just two points at one point, but were unable to recover as the Pacers pulled away.
The victory improved the Pacers’ home record to 7-2, while the Blazers fell to 3-8 on the road. Up next, the Trail Blazers will host the Sacramento Kings on Friday, while the Pacers will take on the Detroit Pistons on the same day.
