Frankfort, Ind. – A 48-year-old man from Frankfort has been arrested for dealing and possessing methamphetamine, according to the Frankfort Police Department. Michael A. Fosnight was taken into custody by officers following an investigation on Monday. The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Fosnight with several felonies, including dealing and possession of methamphetamine in varying amounts. The police chief, Scott Shoemaker, commended the department for its proactive efforts in targeting drug dealers in the city, particularly those involved in methamphetamine distribution. The charges against Fosnight include high-level felonies for dealing and possession of methamphetamine, as well as lower-level felonies and a misdemeanor charge for introducing a controlled substance into his body. The department’s Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division were instrumental in making the arrest. The authorities are committed to cracking down on the distribution of harmful drugs like methamphetamine in the community.
