Indiana Man Robs Ohio Store at Gunpoint and Escapes Police

A suspect, identified as Octavious J.H. Roberson, 24, from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was arrested following an aggravated robbery and police chase in Hicksville, Ohio. The incident occurred early Thursday morning when officers responded to an armed robbery at a convenience store. The suspect fled on foot and then in a vehicle, leading to a police pursuit that ended in a crash on State Route 2. The suspect was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a hospital in Indiana. Authorites recovered a firearm at the scene of the crash and positively identified Roberson as the suspect. Upon his release from the hospital, Roberson was arrested and held in Indiana. He faces charges of aggravated robbery and awaits extradition to Ohio. The investigation and legal proceedings are ongoing.
