Indiana’s #14/15 ranked team defeats Men’s Basketball with a score of 89-73 in The Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament

The Providence College men’s basketball team suffered a defeat against the #14/15 Indiana Hoosiers in a non-conference game in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The Friars, now 5-3 on the season, fell 89-73 despite Jayden Pierre’s career-high 22 points. Jabri Abdur-Rahim and Corey Floyd Jr. also contributed 14 points each. Indiana led at halftime 44-34, eventually securing the win with a strong second half performance. Mackenzie Mgbako led the Hoosiers with 25 points. The Friars shot 39.1% from the field, while Indiana shot 53.3%. Despite the loss, the Friars look ahead to their upcoming game against BYU on December 3. Providence returns to the Amica Mutual Pavilion, with tip-off set for 8:30 p.m. The team will look to bounce back and secure a victory against the Cougars.
