As the country approaches Election Day, ten states are concluding their early in-person voting periods on Monday. Among these, Montana stands out with a closely watched Senate race between incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Tester and Republican Tim Sheehy. Other key down-ballot races include Alaska’s at-large district, Iowa’s 1st District, and Colorado’s 3rd and 8th Districts.

In Alaska, moderate Democrat Mary Peltola faces Republican Nick Begich in a closely watched race. In Iowa, GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks is vulnerable in the 1st District, while Democrat Lanon Baccam challenges Republican Rep. Zach Nunn in the southern 3rd District. Colorado’s 3rd District and 8th District are also battlegrounds this election cycle.

Meanwhile, in Indiana’s 1st District, Democrat Rep. Frank Mrvan is being challenged by Republican Randy Niemeyer, and in Montana’s 1st District, incumbent GOP Rep. Ryan Zinke faces Democrat Monica Tranel.

For voters in Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Rhode Island, and Wyoming, the deadline to deliver mail-in ballots is November 5, with Monday being the final day for early in-person voting. As the nation prepares for Election Day, these races are crucial in determining the political landscape for the upcoming years.
