The Mozel Sanders Foundation, a longstanding institution dedicated to serving the community, has once again gone above and beyond to provide hot meals for those in need this Thanksgiving. Volunteers at 17 satellite locations and five central kitchens worked tirelessly to prepare a mouthwatering feast, including 3,750 pounds of chicken, 2,500 pounds of dressing, and 500 cans of green beans. This year, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Mayor Joe Hogsett joined in to lend a helping hand, emphasizing the foundation’s year-round commitment to serving those in need.
With the holiday season in full swing, the foundation’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. Barbara Boyd, a volunteer with Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, highlighted the importance of their work in providing nourishment and joy to those facing hardship during the holidays.
