Three juveniles were arrested by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department for a botched robbery that resulted in one juvenile male being shot and wounded on May 10. The incident took place on East 10th Street, where officers found two juveniles, one with a gunshot wound. The female victim reported being robbed just before the shooting. Detectives identified the three suspects and arrested them in different locations across Indianapolis on Monday. The suspects face charges including armed robbery, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness, and dangerous possession of a firearm. The suspects’ ages were not released by IMPD. The arrests were announced on Facebook, with the police department emphasizing that the shooting was a result of a robbery gone wrong. The incident took place on the near east side of Indianapolis.
