The New Palestine High School football team secured their fourth state championship in program history with a dominant 56-26 victory over East Noble in the IHSAA 4A State Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Setting a new record with 7 rushing touchdowns, the Dragons offense was led by running back Josh Ranes, who scored four touchdowns and amassed 166 rushing yards. Caden Jacobia also made a significant impact with 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback Jacob Davis contributed with a touchdown pass to Austin McMahan. The Dragons’ offense totaled 511 yards while their defense limited East Noble to 262 yards. This victory marks the Dragons’ first state championship since 2019 and cements their status as the 20th program in Indiana to claim four high school football state titles. The team’s unbeaten season culminated in a well-deserved championship win, showcasing their strength and determination on both sides of the ball.
