Hon Hai Technology Group (“Foxconn”) is making a strong presence at the 2nd annual Taiwan International Assembly of Space Science, Technology, and Industry (TASTI) conference organized by the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA). As the title sponsor of the event, Foxconn is showcasing its cutting-edge in-orbit operation technologies from its LEO satellite and highlighting the global space industry chain footprint.
Dr. Jen-Ming Wu, an advisory committee member for TASTI, emphasized the importance of new generation space communications and the collaborative efforts with industry partners to create a comprehensive ecosystem for the satellite industry. Foxconn’s Senior Director, Jesse Chao, will participate in a roundtable discussing public-private collaborations in the sector.
At TASTI 2024, Foxconn will display a full-scale model of the PEARL CubeSat, along with its in-orbit operation technologies and satellite system integration capabilities. The Group will also showcase innovations from its satellite communications industry chain partnerships, including a low-orbit satellite user terminal, Earth observation camera module, and weather-resistant connection harnesses.
Technology partner MediaTek Inc will showcase its Software Defined Radio (SDR) chip, while US-based Antaris will present its innovative software platform for space missions. Foxconn’s participation at TASTI underscores its commitment to supporting the development of the space ecosystem on a global scale.
