Indianapolis has secured a new partnership with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that will bring three of the company’s signature events to the city. The Indiana Sports Corp will host the Royal Rumble in 2025, followed by future WrestleMania and SummerSlam events. Mayor Joe Hogsett hinted at the deal last week with a post featuring WWE Hall-of-Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan.
The last time WrestleMania was in Indianapolis was in 1992, attracting over 60,000 fans to the Hoosier Dome. Now, WWE officials are already in the city for the signature TV show, “WWE Monday Night Raw.” Additionally, WISH-TV will be the exclusive broadcast home of WWE’s NXT program starting in October.
Fans can soon purchase Priority Passes for the Royal Rumble 2025 from On Location. Exclusive presale access can be secured by visiting the WWE website. The partnership also includes WWE Raw, SmackDown, and other live events hosted throughout the state.
The announcement comes after the conclusion of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament at Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis continues to establish itself as a top destination for sports and entertainment events. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be a part of the action as WWE brings its exciting lineup of events to the city.
