The Circle City of Indianapolis is getting ready to host its first-ever Royal Rumble event, which is the third largest event put on by WWE. The event will feature a men’s rumble and a women’s rumble, with 30 participants in each and a new superstar entering the ring every 90 seconds. Indiana Sports Corp, in partnership with WWE, is ensuring that visitors have a range of activities to enjoy leading up to the event, including programming from the Children’s Museum, Chreece Hip Hop Festival, and a Top Rope Tailgate downtown.
Local artists have also contributed to the excitement, with pieces inspired by WWE, such as “The Circle City Enters the Rumble” at the Indianapolis International Airport and “Ringmasters” mural in Fountain Square.
This partnership between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp is unique and is expected to bring fans from around the world to Indianapolis for years to come. The Royal Rumble event will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Lucas Oil Stadium, with tickets starting at $150. This collaboration is a testament to the city’s vibrant arts and sports community, and promises to be an exciting and unforgettable experience for all involved.
