Brazilian Man Arrested for Firing Gun at Bartender During Altercation

Fishers police arrested a Brazil man, Ronald Leach, for shooting at a bartender in an incident that began at a local bar. Leach was asked to leave the bar but returned later to argue with an employee over his missing driver’s license. The employee later saw Leach’s vehicle at a stop light, drove past, and was shot at near the intersection of 116th Street and Exit 5 Parkway. Fortunately, the employee was not injured, but his vehicle was damaged. Leach was found driving a white Ford F-150, stopped by officers, and taken into custody without incident. Investigators found a handgun in his vehicle and noted signs of intoxication. Leach is now facing charges including criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, pointing a firearm at another, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He also has prior convictions. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of alcohol-fueled altercations and the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully. Leach is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Jail awaiting further legal proceedings.
