New Head Football Coach Named at North Central High School – Latest Updates on Indianapolis News, Indiana Weather, and Indiana Traffic

North Central High School in Indianapolis has named Collin Coffer as its new head football coach after the Washington Township School Board’s recent approval. Coffer, who previously worked as the wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator at Indiana State University, expressed his excitement and honor at the opportunity. Before his time at Indiana State, Coffer coached at the University of Indianapolis and has also worked at Ball State and St. Joseph’s College. Known for his focus on culture and leadership, Coffer aims to bring growth, teamwork, and excellence to the North Central football program. The school’s principal, Mr. Jagga Rent, praised Coffer’s appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to guide student-athletes on and off the field. In addition to his coaching duties, Coffer will also serve as the school’s Sports Performance Supervisor in the weight room. The Panthers are entering the 2025 season with a 32-game winning streak, with their last victory occurring in October 2021 against Pike. Coffer replaces Derek Hart as the head coach, who had a winless tenure of 0-20 over two seasons.
