Police in Columbus arrest three individuals after confiscating more than 50 grams of methamphetamine


Three individuals were arrested in Columbus after a drug bust led to the seizure of over 50 grams of methamphetamine. The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office reported that a search warrant was executed at a residence on 22nd Street, where law enforcement officials found methamphetamine, cash, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of drug dealing. Three firearms were also seized from the residence. Timothy Perry, Michael Coffey, and Anna Arney were all taken into custody and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail. Perry faces charges including dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance. Coffey is being held on charges of possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance. Arney has a $3,500 bond for visiting a common nuisance. The Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, Columbus Police Department officers, and Bartholomew County deputies were involved in the operation. The arrests highlight ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and promote public safety in the area.
