A federal judge has ordered an official from Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to testify and provide documents in response to a lawsuit filed by the American Federation of Labor and other unions against the Trump administration. The labor groups suing DOGE expressed concerns about potential conflicts of interest and access to sensitive information, including data on federal workers and investigations related to Musk’s corporate interests. Trump has defended Musk’s role at DOGE, acknowledging criticism while praising his efforts. The White House stated that Amy Gleason holds the title of acting DOGE administrator, implying leadership within the organization.
