“Easel by Penrod art fair at Stutz Building draws crowds in Indianapolis” – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

Local art lovers and culture enthusiasts are in for a treat this Friday as the Stutz building in downtown Indy hosts “Easel” by Penrod, an event featuring art, music, gourmet food, and bespoke drinks. The art fair, organized by the Penrod Arts Fair in collaboration with the Stutz Artists Association, will showcase local artists in 40 booths and 40 artist studios, with attendees having the opportunity to witness artists at work and purchase their artwork.

However, the event is not just about art. According to Ryan Stephens, the 2025 art fair chair, “Easel” by Penrod is also aimed at raising funds for Penrod’s grant program, which supports organizations in the local arts community. Last year, the grant program distributed $250,000 to more than 70 organizations, including the Tindley Accelerated Schools, who used the grant to purchase band equipment for their students.

Stephens is excited about the growing art scene in central Indiana and sees “Easel” as a way to contribute to that growth. The event is 21 and up, and guests are encouraged to dress in “festive cocktail” attire, with tickets starting at $100. For more information on “Easel” by Penrod, visit their website.
