The Marvella Foundation will spearhead the project, which will cover 300,000 square feet and feature 16 courts and fields for sports like basketball, volleyball, and lacrosse. Named Marvella Sports in honor of women’s rights advocate Marvella Bayh, the facility will also include a success center focused on mental health, leadership, and nutrition for young female athletes.

Allison Barber, the Executive Leader and Chair of the Marvella Foundation, expressed excitement about the project, highlighting its focus on creating a space specifically tailored for female athletes. Fair Oaks Farms, traditionally known for its focus on agriculture and hospitality, will offer visitors the chance to engage in agricultural experiences and indulge in farm-fresh dining options. Construction on Marvella Sports is set to begin in the spring, with a targeted completion date of summer 2026.
