The body of 23-year-old Venezuelan national Nelson Daniel Ramos-Rivas was found in a ditch off Interstate 65 in Crown Point, Indiana last week. A forensic autopsy confirmed his identity through fingerprints and determined his cause of death to be a homicide from a gunshot wound. Ramos-Rivas’ last known residence was in Tillamook County, Oregon. Officials have not yet determined where the shooting originally occurred.
