In an interview with “Dateline,” Lori declined to discuss the details of the upcoming trials but maintained her innocence in the deaths of her husband and Chad’s previous wife. The trial for Charles’ killing is set to begin on March 31, with Lori acting as her own attorney, a decision she described as challenging but great. Chad and Lori married weeks after the death of Tammy, Chad’s previous wife, and received a life insurance payout linked to her death.
