Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) at Penn State University Libraries is seeking self-nominations for the Teaching and Learning Technologies Faculty Advisory Committee for 2025-27. The committee plays a key role in integrating technology into teaching and learning at the university. Members engage with faculty leaders, provide guidance on technology decisions, recommend focus areas for programs and events, and advocate for teaching, learning, technology, and innovation.
Committee members meet at least three times per semester, communicate regularly with their constituency, and exchange feedback with other members. Faculty passionate about technology in teaching and interested in exploring new pedagogical approaches are encouraged to apply. Current members and TLT representatives will make selections, and new members will be notified by early May. Members will serve staggered two-year terms.
Amy Kuntz, TLT learning innovation strategic initiatives coordinator, emphasized the importance of faculty input in shaping educational innovation and enhancing student experiences. She encourages a wide range of perspectives on the committee to lead efforts in collaboration and innovation. Faculty interested in applying or with questions can email aer13@psu.edu.
The deadline for self-nominations is April 8. By being part of this committee, faculty can contribute to the future of education at Penn State and have a direct impact on teaching practices and student experiences.
