Election Day is fast approaching in the Tri-State area of Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Eastern Indiana, with a lot of important decisions to be made. WVXU has created a guide to help voters find their polling places and learn about the candidates running for various offices.
The guide includes information on candidates who responded to surveys about relevant issues, as well as links to campaign websites for those who did not. While WVXU’s team is small, they have collaborated with other public media partners to provide comprehensive coverage leading up to Election Day.
In Ohio, voters can find information on races in Hamilton County, including candidates for Auditor, Clerk of Courts, Coroner, Prosecutor, Sheriff, and more. There are also details on tax levies, school levies, and Issue 1, which would create a panel to draw lawmakers’ district maps.
In Kentucky, voters can learn about races in Covington and Newport, as well as the proposed amendments for medical marijuana and school choice. In Indiana, information is provided on races for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and the Indiana Supreme Court.
