Carmel Clay Schools Set to Make Decision on Significant Improvements – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic


Carmel Clay Schools is gearing up for major upgrades on several of its campuses, with the school board set to discuss proposed renovations at a meeting on Monday evening. The board will consider bids for asphalt paving and sealcoating, classroom renovations at Carmel High School, as well as renovations at the Greyhound Activity Center and Freshman Center.

The total cost for the pavement improvements is $310,500, funded by a 2023 Lease Rental Bond. The classroom renovations at Carmel High School will cost $627,000, funded by a 2024 Lease Rental Bond.

Change orders for the Greyhound Activity Center and Freshman Center renovations will also help reduce costs by thousands of dollars. Attendees interested in speaking at the meeting must register in advance by 5:45 p.m. Public comment is scheduled on the agenda, and all attendees must follow security measures and respect the decorum of the meeting.
