The Indiana Valor women’s tackle football team is gearing up to make history with their first game as they celebrate Women’s History Month. The team, with over 45 women on the roster, is excited to hit the field for the Women’s Football Alliance. Led by Dr. Kim McElroy-Jones, the team’s president of football operations, they are ready to showcase their skills and inspire the next generation of female football players. The team’s first home game is on May 17, and they are prepared to compete in the national league supported by various organizations. The players, who have been passionate about football for years, finally have an outlet to showcase their talents and form a strong and competitive team for the upcoming season. Cornerback Madeline Aul expressed her excitement for the opportunity and the rewarding experience of working with the coaches and players. The Women’s Football Alliance plays 11-on-11 football with full gear, similar to the men’s game. Tickets for Valor’s first home game are now on sale, and the team is eager to show everyone what they are made of on the field.
