Hoosier Chef Collin Hilton Wins World Food Championships
Indiana chef Collin Hilton emerged victorious at the World Food Championships, the largest food sport competition in the world. Hilton, the reigning Noodle Champion, competed against 12 other chefs in the 2025 Final Table and came out on top.
During the three challenges, Hilton placed second in “Retail Gourmet,” first in “Taste and Recreate,” and ultimately won the championship in the final challenge, “My Culinary Journey.” His storytelling, creativity, and technique earned him the highest score of 93.75 in the final round, solidifying his victory.
Hilton not only takes home the title of 2025 World Food Champion but also a prize of $150,000. The World Food Championship will return to Indianapolis for the second year in a row on Oct. 16-19, marking only the second time the event has been held in Indy.
Hilton’s winning dish showcased his exceptional culinary skills and impressed judges and audiences alike. The Indiana chef’s success highlights his dedication to his craft and sets a high standard for future competitors in the world of food sport.
