22-Year-Old Former Math Teacher Faces Serious Charges in Clarksville
A former math teacher in Clarksville, 22-year-old Connor Page, made his initial court appearance on Monday, facing serious allegations. The judge set his bail at $150,000 as prosecutors expressed concerns about the possibility of him fleeing. Page, a lifelong resident of Clarksville, had previously taught math at both Clarksville Middle and High schools.
It was revealed in court that Page had engaged in an illicit online relationship with one of his students, a 14-year-old girl. Evidence found on his devices showed explicit requests for inappropriate photos and hundreds of messages exchanged between him and the victim.
Beyond the virtual realm, Page’s actions extended into the real world as well. The victim reported that Page would follow her school bus and wait for her at her stop. Page even acknowledged the severity of his actions in messages to the victim, recognizing the legal consequences of his behavior.
Prosecutors pushed for strict bail conditions, emphasizing the nature of the relationship and insisting that Page should have no contact with the victim and be barred from school properties. Eventually, Page was led across the courtroom by his lawyer and placed in handcuffs, facing the reality of his actions as the legal process continued to unfold.
Even before criminal charges were filed, the victim and her family pursued justice through a civil lawsuit against Page and other school officials, citing emotional distress caused by the situation. The case serves as a reminder of the seriousness of inappropriate relationships between teachers and students.
