Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky games relocated to United Center for increased audience reach

The Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever have made an exciting announcement regarding their upcoming season. The two games between the teams that were originally scheduled to be played at Wintrust Arena in Chicago will now take place at the United Center. The first game will be on Saturday, June 7, and the second game, originally scheduled for July 26, has been moved to July 27. This marks the first time that WNBA games will be played at the United Center, a venue that can hold over 20,000 fans, double the capacity of Wintrust Arena.

The decision to move the games to the United Center was motivated by the growing interest in the WNBA and the desire to create a special environment for the fans. Sky president and CEO Adam Fox expressed excitement at the opportunity to bring the games to a larger venue, allowing more fans to experience the matchup between these two teams.

The Fever have also seen changes in their schedule, with four road games in the upcoming season being moved to larger venues. In addition to the games in Chicago, their matchups against the Washington Mystics have been relocated to the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, and EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia. These moves have been made to accommodate the increasing popularity of the WNBA and to provide more opportunities for fans to support their favorite teams.
