Elkhart, Indiana- The Elkhart Police Department is currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday morning involving two vehicles. The incident took place at the intersection of East Mishawaka Road/County Road 20 and Center Drive, near Concord High School. A Cadillac traveling westbound collided with an eastbound Toyota Yaris, resulting in the death of the male driver of the Yaris at the scene. The driver of the Cadillac was extricated by the Elkhart Fire Department and taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. Fortunately, the driver of the Cadillac is in stable condition. No other individuals were involved in the crash. The deceased driver’s identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
