White House physician declares Trump to be in ‘excellent health’

President Donald Trump’s annual physical examination results were released by White House physician Sean Barbabella, who stated that Trump is in “excellent health” with robust cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological function. The physical included diagnostic testing and consultations with specialty consultants, revealing normal results for heart, lungs, eyes, and blood work. Trump’s blood pressure was slightly elevated and he displayed minor sun damage on his skin. His cholesterol levels were well-controlled through medication and he had a normal blood sugar level. Trump underwent a comprehensive neurological examination and completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, scoring a perfect 30 out of 30.

Barbabella also noted that Trump had lost 20 pounds since his last physical in 2020, weighing 224 pounds with a body mass index of 28, putting him in the overweight category. The president’s medications include cholesterol medication, aspirin for heart disease prevention, and a topical steroid cream for his skin.

Trump’s fitness to serve as Commander-in-Chief was affirmed based on the results of the physical examination. At 74, Trump became the oldest person elected president in November, surpassing Joe Biden’s previous record. Trump’s active lifestyle, including golf victories and public appearances, was credited for contributing significantly to his overall well-being, according to Barbabella’s memo.
