Pacers Advance to NBA Finals for First Time Since 2000

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — In a historic matchup, the Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 125-108 in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, cementing their first trip to the NBA Finals since 2000.

The game began with a tight contest, with Indiana holding a slim one-point lead at halftime. However, a dominant third quarter saw the Pacers outscore New York 34-23, extending their lead to as much as 19 points. The NBA Finals are set to begin Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern in Oklahoma City, with the Pacers’ first home game slated for Wednesday, June 11, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
